Description

This incredible coating means you CAN revive and protect your fibreglass roof yourself.

So easy to apply, restoring and waterproofing your leaking grp roof couldn’t be easier with our GRP Roof Restoration Coating.
Just clean and apply, it’s that simple.

What You Need to Know:

Size: 6kg or 15kg tin. A 15kg tin is more economical if you need more then 12kg.
Coverage: 1m2 per kg of coating.
Application: Paint or roller on.
Touch dry time: 3 to 4 hours, although it may take longer on colder days.
Cleaning Up: You need a strong cleaning product like Xylene for cleaning tools, etc afterwards.

What’s in the kits?

Kits come in 6kg and 15kg sizes.
A 6kg Kit contains: 1 x 6kg Tin of GRP Restoration Coat, you can choose with or without tools
A 15kg kit contains: 1 x 15kg Tin of GRP Restoration Coat, you can choose with or without tools

How Do I apply It?

Simply clean your fibreglass roof, make sure there are no protruding glass fibres and apply a layer of our GRP Roof Restoration Coat. That’s it…it really is as easy as that.

If you need to make any repairs first to maybe a crack or hole, have a look at our repair products by themselves or as part of a kit with the GRP Restoration Coating.

For a nice clean finish we recommend you tape around the edges, apply the coating then remove the tape as soon as the coating starts to get tacky.

Why Choose GRP Restoration Coating?
  • Minimal preparation
  • Just one coat, no primer needed
  • Easy to apply
  • 10 – 15 years life expectancy
  • Tough finish
  • Tolerant of high humidity, unlike GRP resin
  • Tolerant of a range of temperatures during application
  • Easy to re-coat in the future

Need to make repairs first? No problem, just have a look at our GRP Repair kits which come with all the tools and additional products you’ll need to make repairs on their own or before coating.

Simply clean your fibreglass roof, make sure there are no protruding glass fibres and coat it with a generous layer of our GRP Roof Restoration Coat.

If you have any cracks, blemishes or visible pinholes just use the PU sealant to repair and fill them first. You don’t even have to wait for the sealant to dry before you can apply the coating.

If you need to reinforce the area, simply embed a layer of Glassmat between two coats of GRP Restoration coat at that point. For a nice clean finish we recommend you tape around the edges, apply the coating then remove the tape as soon as the coating starts to get tacky.
