Whats in the kits?

Kits come in 6kg and 15kg sizes.
A 6kg kit contains: 1 x 6kg Tin of GRP Restoration Coat, 1 x SpeedPatch 150mm x 225mm each, 1 x 9″ Roller head and 2 x 9″ Roller Sleeve, 1 x 2″ brush.
A 15kg tin kit contains: 1 x 15kg Tin of GRP Restoration Coat, 2 x SpeedPatch 150mm x 225mm each, 1 x 9″ Roller head and 2 x 9″ Roller Sleeve, 1 x 2″ brush.

If you need extra Speedpatches you can buy them individually or in multi-packs

How Do I apply It?

Simply clean your fibreglass roof, make sure there are no protruding glass fibres. Cut the SpeedPatch to the required size whilst still in it’s packet, remove that piece and apply to the hole. Allow the patch to cure fully in daylight until hard. Remove the shiny cover film on the top of the Speedpatch then coat the whole roof including over the repair with a generous layer of our GRP Roof Restoration Coat.

Once cut, the SpeedPatches will start to cure even if left in their packet so make sure you have everything ready to use up each SpeedPatch quickly as it is cut.

For a nice clean finish we recommend you tape around the edges, apply the coating then remove the tape as soon as the coating starts to get tacky.

Why Choose GRP Restoration Coating?
  • Minimal preparation
  • Just one coat, no primer needed
  • Easy to apply
  • 10 – 15 years life expectancy
  • Tough finish
  • Tolerant of high humidity, unlike GRP resin
  • Tolerant of a range of temperatures during application
  • Easy to re-coat in the future
